Raf reviews - Techno Bowl I’ll be the first to admit that American Football is not something I am very knowledgeable about. Being from a small Central American country and going to US school where the football team was somewhere worse than awful meant that my exposure was limited to Superbowl parties and NFL Blitz 64. That changed 5 years ago when I married into a Cowboys family, and since then I’ve grown to enjoy Sundays and have come to realize that there is far more to the game than people smashing into each other. 03/18/2016

Calvin's Corner - Gaming With The Kids Over Chinese New Year, I was invited to my friend Irene's house for dinner. 'Bring a board game,' she'd told me. 'The kids want to play one of yours.' Being the mother of two children with a rather large age gap (6 and 12), Irene liked having activities that her whole family could join in, and upon my recommendation had taken up board games. While obviously not a traditional CNY activity, I nevertheless selected a co-operative game from my collection and headed over. After dinner, we opened 03/11/2016

Raf reviews King's Forge I’ll be the first to admit I have a soft spot in my heart for dice. They’re classic, enduring, and those little multi-faceted bastards have been responsible for some of my most elating and deflating moments in gaming. When the dice turn in your favor it’s amazing; when they don’t it can be very frustrating. Accordingly, as King’s Forge was set up in front of me, with it’s 90 something dice laid out on a beautiful board, I knew that I was either going to really like or really hate it. 02/29/2016

Raf reviews Posthuman An exhausted looking woman with spiky black hair dragging a bloody baseball bat walked along the path. An old man and his son approached her. She was starving, having been hiking and camping the post-apocalyptic wasteland for days, but somehow they looked worse. They begged her for a few cans of food. She wrestled with her conscience for a moment; there was no telling how far away The Fortress was. Digging through her pack, she found her last two cans and handed them over. The man smiled as he 02/11/2016
